Camera with 1-inch 20mp sensor

The onboard camera features a 1-INCH 20 megapixel CMOS sensor now. The advanced lens features 8 element formations distributed into 7 groups. Besides, The new camera is, without any doubt, is the first to have an embedded mechanical shutter. This completely removes the chance of rolling shutter distortion when fast moving objects are captured or during rapid flight. It is as powerful as many traditional ground cameras which many other might claim that advanced ground cameras are far more powerful. Videos are also processed much stronger. H.264 is supported for 4K resolution recording at 60fps, and H.265 – at 30fps, both with a bitrate of 100Mbps.

All the mentioned processes with the camera are done with base support from H.265 format, which saves disk space while keeping important data for further editing as well as advanced sensors and processors.

5-direction of obstacle sensing

Adding to the already existing rear, front, and side sensors, FlightAutonomy now has high resolution stereo vision sensors at the back. Coupled with infrared sensors on both sides, these sensors form a cohesive system creating 5 directions of obstacle identification and 4 ways to avoidance which helps the Phantom 4 Pro side bump obstacles and gives freedom to capture more difficult shots with less worry.
